Privacy policy
The Drowned Table is provided by Undeathical. This policy covers the Android and iPhone/iPad versions, including the free edition and full-game upgrade, and the in-game feedback service used by the mobile and Windows editions.
Privacy questions and requests: d3cr7pt@gmail.com. In-game feedback and bug reports are delivered to undeathical@gmail.com.
Playing and saving on your device
You do not need an Undeathical account to play. Campaigns, discoveries, achievements, preferences and local game records are saved on your device. The game does not automatically upload your saved campaign to an Undeathical server. You can choose to include limited game details when you send feedback, as described below.
Local records remain until they are replaced or removed. Removing the app or its stored data can remove those records. Device or operating-system backups may retain copies according to your settings and the relevant platform's backup service. Removing the app does not remove purchase records held by Apple or Google, or feedback you have already submitted.
Advertising in the free mobile edition
The free mobile edition uses Google AdMob. An interstitial ad may appear when you begin another campaign after losing. You can also choose to watch a rewarded ad for 5 Doubloons once per shop visit. The reward is granted only when the advertising SDK reports that it was earned. If no ad is available, gameplay continues.
The game keeps a local record of earned ad rewards so that an interrupted session can recover a reward without granting it twice. This record identifies the relevant campaign and shop, not an email address or player account, and is not sent to our feedback service automatically.
The full-game upgrade removes the game's ad placements. The iOS game checks upgrade ownership before starting its advertising and consent flow; if ownership cannot be verified, it does not start that flow. Once full-game ownership is verified, the game stops requesting and presenting new ads. An ad that is already on screen must still be closed using its controls. Buying the upgrade does not delete information that an advertising provider previously received. Windows editions do not use these AdMob placements.
Google's advertising services may process network information including your IP address and approximate location inferred from it; device, app or advertising identifiers; ad impressions, taps and video views; and crash, performance and other interaction information. This information supports ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and service improvement. What is processed depends on the platform, SDK, available permissions, privacy choices and advertising configuration. See Google's Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from partner apps, and Google's iOS SDK disclosure.
The current Android build omits Android's advertising-ID permission. That does not prevent all other identifiers or advertising data from being processed. On iOS, access to Apple's advertising identifier is subject to App Tracking Transparency permission. Declining tracking or personalized ads does not mean that all advertising data collection stops; contextual ads and privacy-preserving attribution can still involve information permitted by your choices and platform settings.
Ad privacy choices
The free mobile edition uses Google's User Messaging Platform to check applicable advertising privacy choices and show required messages. Consent information and choices are handled by Google's consent service. The game requests ads only when the SDK indicates that it may do so.
Where Google requires a privacy-options entry point, use Settings → Privacy → Manage ad privacy choices to review or change those choices. Available messages and choices depend on your location and Google's configuration. You can also use the privacy and advertising controls provided by Android or iOS. On iOS, tracking permissions can be managed in the device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If the consent service is unavailable and the SDK cannot request ads, you can continue playing without ads. Declining personalization does not necessarily remove all ads. Ad privacy choices do not prevent you from purchasing or restoring the full game.
Full-game purchases and restoration
On iPhone and iPad, the full-game upgrade is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. It is not a subscription. The game uses Apple's verified purchase and entitlement information to unlock the full game, restore an existing purchase and respond to refunds or revoked purchases. Apple may require you to authenticate with your Apple Account for a purchase or restore.
The game does not collect your Apple Account password or payment-card details. The current game integration does not send StoreKit transaction receipts to an Undeathical server. Apple handles App Store account, payment and purchase records under its App Store privacy information and Privacy Policy.
For Android builds that offer the upgrade through Google Play, Google processes the purchase. The game uses purchase status and signed purchase information, including a locally stored receipt, to verify access and restore ownership. Purchase acknowledgment is sent through Google Play's billing service. Google handles its account, payment and purchase records under Google's Privacy Policy.
Store-held purchase records are separate from your local game save. Deleting a save, removing the app or deleting a feedback report does not delete the platform's purchase history or request a refund.
In-game feedback and support
Sending feedback is optional. When you press the in-game submission button, the game sends your message, report category, platform and game version over HTTPS to our Google Apps Script feedback receiver. A reply email is included only if you enter one. The service stores the report in a private Google Sheets archive and sends an email notification containing the report to undeathical@gmail.com. Google processes this information to provide those services.
You can review and omit the optional game-details attachment. It can include edition, current screen, viewport size, dice cup, depth, encounter, campaign or endless mode, game phase, route seed, offering score, last cast score and casts remaining. The automatic attachment does not include your profile name, a purchase receipt or token, a complete save file, a local file path or a persistent device identifier. Please do not include passwords, payment information or other sensitive details in the message you write.
Each submission includes a random receipt identifier. The receiver also records its receipt time, delivery status and a digest of the submitted content to detect duplicate submissions and manage delivery. These records are used to receive and answer feedback, investigate bugs, improve the game and prevent duplicate or abusive submissions. A delivery acknowledgment means the report was received by the service; email notification may follow later.
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to respond and investigate your request. The game does not automatically send full diagnostic logs or saved campaigns to support.
Retention, deletion and your choices
Local game records and local reward records are kept on your device as described above. Google and Apple retain information processed by their services under their own privacy policies and applicable requirements.
Submitted reports and support emails are retained as private support records while needed to handle requests, investigate defects and maintain relevant support history. The feedback service does not automatically delete reports on a fixed schedule. You may request access, correction or deletion of information you supplied directly by emailing d3cr7pt@gmail.com or undeathical@gmail.com. If possible, identify the report or use the reply email you supplied so we can locate it without asking for unnecessary information. A deletion request covers the report copies we control in the private archive and support inbox; information we must retain for legal obligations may be retained for that purpose.
You can change advertising consent through the controls described above. Deleting a local save or uninstalling the game does not withdraw advertising consent from every provider or delete previously submitted reports. For information held by Google or Apple outside our control, use the account and privacy controls described in their policies.
Children
The Drowned Table's mobile editions are intended for adults aged 18 and over and are not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through support. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game or its services change. The date above identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions, contact d3cr7pt@gmail.com.
